吉本興業が主催するオーディション『美笑女グランプリ』の初代女王となった高野渚（17）。先月に芸能界入りし、早くも1ヶ月が経過した。これまでと生活は大きく変わったがグランプリの決め手となった笑顔は変わらず。憧れの芸能界での夢を語ってくれた。
■満場一致でグランプリに選出 周囲に吉本所属を驚かれる
同オーディションの応募総数2307人。アイドル、女優、タレントの枠を超えて活躍できる「笑顔がステキな女性」、「笑顔を届けられる女性」を発掘することが目的となっている。グランプリの高野には、よしもとグループへの所属、映画、品川ヒロシ監督のドラマ、CMなどの出演権が与えられた。
笑うと自然と口角が上がり、周囲も自然と笑ってしまう天性の明るさを持つ。そのため、昔から笑顔をほめられることが多かった。「初めて会った人に『笑顔がステキね』とか『いつも笑ってるね』と言われることが多かったです」。そのキラキラとした表情に審査員は満場一致でグランプリに選出した。「グランプリを取ってから生活が一変しました。東京に来る機会も増えましたし、新しいことをたくさん経験できています」。グランプリ決定直後から多くの祝福メッセージが送られ、学校でも多くの「おめでとう」という言葉を浴びた。「みんな応援してくれてます」とエールに感謝した。
品川監督とも対面。「よろしくお願いします」とあいさつすると品川監督は「吉本に入ったの？」と質問を受けたそう。「入りました」と報告すると品川監督は「そうなんか…」と含みを持たせた返答だったという。「まだ、それしかお話できてないです」と苦笑いを浮かべる。ちなみに吉本興業と契約したことについて周囲から「ビックリはされました」と明かす。ただ、お笑いのイメージが強い同社だが、池脇千鶴や『おっさんずラブ』で天空不動産の“紅一点”瀨川舞香役で出演していた伊藤修子らも所属。「芸人さんじゃなく、女優として頑張りたいと思います」と屈託のない表情で宣言した。
憧れの女優は二階堂ふみと杉咲花。「演技がとにかく自然。役の人に入りきっている。ドラマの登場人物として生きている感じがする。私も自然体な演技ができたら」と夢を語った。出演してみたい作品は学園モノ。「『GTO』とか『35歳の高校生』とかをよく見ていました。あと、大人っぽいとも言われるので20代の役とかもやってみたいです」。
■目標は高校サッカー応援マネ 笑顔で決意表明「全力でやりたい」
小さいころから芸能界に憧れがあり、広告などのモデル活動をしていた。日に日に女優への興味が増していき、「演じる側にいきたい」と思うようになった。そんな折に同オーディションを知って、受けるか悩んだが「私の夢のためには今しかない」とチャンスの女神の前髪をつかんだ。
大阪生まれでもあり、大阪放送局制作の朝ドラにシンパシーを感じている。「絶対に出てみたいです。ヒロインをやりたいと強く思いますけど、ちょっと出るだけでも。そこを目指して頑張れたら」と力を込める。
さらに芸能界での夢について、全国高校サッカー選手権大会の応援マネージャーを挙げる。初代の堀北真希さんと筆頭に、新垣結衣（2代目）、広瀬アリス（6代目）、川口春奈（7代目）、松井愛莉（9代目）、広瀬すず（10代目）、永野芽郁（11代目）と今をときめくスターが名を連ねる“若手女優の登竜門”。「来年しかチャンスはない。やりたいなと思います」と目を輝かせ「そこに出るためには頑張らないといけない。そのためにも来年は自分の実力を上げたいですね」。
また、バスケットで鍛えられ、身長165センチでスラッとしたスタイルはモデル向きの体型。美容やファッションに高い興味もあり「モデルさんもやれるならやってみたいです。メイクやスキンケア、スタイルがどうやったらよくなるのか研究するのが好きなんです」と意欲を口にする。
「『受けたからには笑顔に自信があったんですよね』と聞かれることが多いんですけど、自信はなかったんです。『不自然ちゃうかな』とか思うこともあって…」と本音もちらり。それでも「自分の笑顔がいいと言ってくださる人がたくさんいた。この笑顔で人をたくさん幸せにできたら」とビッグスマイル。日ごろから笑顔を心掛け、面白いことには素直に笑うことをして、周囲に明るさをもたらしている。「『美笑女グランプリ』のグランプリとして何事にも笑顔で全力でやりたいと思います」。これからも高野は、その笑顔で道を切り開いていく。
